Cushion It
The Shear Comfort® Cushion-It™ provides that extra pressure care and comfort for standard seating and back products. For example, the Cushion-It™ can be used directly on a seat or back canvas of a wheelchair, or can be placed over standard foam cushions to increase pressure care, and to absorb perspiration and remove the stickiness associated with sitting on plastic coasted surfaces. Draughts through the backs of chairs can thus also be prevented. Each Cushion-It™ comes with velcro straps to hold the Cushion-It™ in place around cushions or wheelchair canvasses. ‘One size fits all’ will accommodate seats and cushions up to 50cm wide or 50cm deep.
Heel Protector
The Heel Protectors are effective wherever the feet are placed. The sheepskin wraps around the heel and ankle leaving the rest of the foot unencumbered. Sold in pairs. State size when ordering XS, S, M, L
Shear Comfort Overlay
The Shear Comfort® Overlay is a complete skin measuring at least 92cm long and 63cm wide. The complete skin can be used for pressure care in bed (placed over the sheet and against the skin) or, when seated, placed under the areas of risk or where added comfort is required.
The Shear Comfort® Overlay can also be trimmed to cover individual requirements, for example for a close fit in a favourite chair, right down to fitting into individual cots or incubators.
