Standing slings support the client around the trunk and under the arms during the sit-to-stand transfer, providing the stability and assistance needed for clients who retain some weight-bearing ability but require support to safely move between a seated and standing position.

Unlike full body hoist slings, standing slings leave the legs largely unsupported, the client's legs take partial body weight during the transfer, supporting rehabilitation goals and maintaining residual functional strength where possible. Our standing sling range is available in a variety of sizes and configurations to suit different client body shapes and standing hoist models. An occupational therapist assessment is essential before prescribing a standing sling to confirm that the client's weight-bearing ability and trunk control are appropriate for this transfer method.
