The Arm Wrap provides safe arm support when needed, for example, with some stroke patients who may unintentionally pinch or hit caregivers during transfers or sling use.
The patient is carefully log-rolled, the wrap positioned behind them, and secured over the arms. This should be remove immediately once the patient is in a chair.
This product is an Aid to Daily Living (ADL) and may also be considered a restraint. Use should be approved and documented in the patient’s care plan.
