Our Story
"When you've seen the difference first-hand that the right equipment can make in someone's life, this becomes more than a business. It's a responsibility and one we're proud to carry every day."
Safety and Mobility was founded in 2007 by John and Melanie. Having watched close family members navigate life with Osteogenesis Imperfecta and Cerebral Palsy, they understood first-hand how much the right equipment can change a person's daily experience both physically and emotionally. That insight became the foundation of everything Safety and Mobility does today.
Before founding the business, John and Melanie successfully built, nurtured and sold several companies in the UK and Australia. When they turned their attention to healthcare equipment, they brought that same commercial expertise, combined with something far more important: a genuine reason to care.
Nearly two decades later, Safety and Mobility remains proudly family-owned and -operated, with their children and partners now actively involved in the business. As a close-knit family team, the company is known for being responsive, practical and nimble, offering the personalised service of a specialist provider with the experience, reliability and national reach customers depend on.
