Forearm Support Walkers for Aged Care

Our forearm walkers are ideal for users with limited hand and wrist strength who require assistance while walking and would not be able to support crutches, including aged care patients. The forearm gutters are padded to provide support and comfort and the hand grips are adjustable to suit to the user’s forearm length. Some of our forearm walkers feature a padded, height adjustable chest rest; the chest rest provides high levels of support and comfort to the upper body and aids walking. Each walker stands atop two or four castors which allow the walker to be mobile and manoeuvrable. Our Walking Tutor folds almost flat for easy storage and transportation. Our Forearm Walker with handbrakes has thick tubing and large wheels along with fully adjustable forearm and hand supports and is designed to keep the user in an upright position for gait training.

Bariatric Forearm Support Walking Frames

Bariatric walkers are available and feature a reinforced frame with extra bracing to provide extra support for the larger user. Our Bariatric Forearm Walker with Cutaway allows user to step further into the frame. Our Stainless Steel Bariatric Forearm Walker has a safe working limit of 350kg and includes triple braced forearm gutters, 13cm wide. This Bariatric Forearm walker can be customised to be made wider.
