Bed Rails

At Safety and Mobility, we offer an extensive range of bed rails in a variety of designs which offer support and stability for those needing extra assistance in bed. Our bed rails are powder coated steel and provide support and assistance for actions such as sitting, standing, turning, repositioning and/or bed transfers, this may reduce the need for a carer/assistance. Most of our bed rails are designed to slide between the mattress and the base of the bed to ensure easy and efficient installation and removal. Our bed side wedges offer an alternative to restraints and can be used as a reminder for patients not to roll out of bed by strapping them onto the sides of the mattress. The wedges are encased in sleeves and offer support and comfort for the patient. Waterproof foam padding is available as a wrap-around bed rail protection cover, made with heavy duty PVC and a removable, washable cover.
